Connecting with Peers through Movement
Group members will learn and participate in various movement activities meant to get students not only moving but engaged with one another though movement. Using both verbal and nonverbal skills group members will learn activities to help students engage with others in initial settings and once more trust has been built

Ashley Ostroski LMHC, NCC, BC-DMT grew up dancing in her local studio and attended Simpson college, when she wasn't sure what to do as a career path a Google search of "dance and working with people" lead her to Dance/Movement Therapy. She received her masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is currently a board certified Dance movement therapist as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Ashley works as a school based therapist for Orchard Place in Des Moines Iowa.
